Outside Play
Our garden is tailor made to suit our nursery and utilise all kinds of natural materials, providing children with an excellent platform for early years education and discovery.
Whether it’s planting and harvesting in special digging and growing areas, reading stories in a cosy tipi, practising role-play and developing social skills on our fantastic stage areas, overlooking surroundings from a nature observatory, or enjoying the exciting road tracks and all-weather surfacing when running and playing, each garden has a variety of special features to support and inspire children.
We’ve got outdoor mark-making facilities to encourage literacy skills, wooden climbing frames for developing physical skills and much, much more.
We have a large forest school area children have a range of structured activities from cooking on an open fire to planting and growing flowers and vegetables. During our Forest school activities the children learn about looking after our environment and the world around them.
There are many things children can learn from being in the great outdoors, and our aim is to give them an experience that they wouldn’t be able to get anywhere else!
